Invisible Cities has been the theme of inspiration for the latest works and is based on texts by Ítalo Calvino.
This work is part of a series of abstraction works that explore the idea of the existence of a structure that can be guessed at a distant horizon. On this screen, reflections on some texts by Tolentino Mendonça about “what remains to be heard” also appear. Cities are essentially composed of an “invisible mesh of millenary silences (…) sidereal silences that open up to the enigma of large spaces”. José Tolentino Mendonça says “(…) this world that we are used to identifying as a strident sound box that never sleeps, is crossed by a thread of silences waiting to be heard (…)”
